News & Views You Can Use – United States Edition

In late March, I highlighted a number of great Canadian blogs and online resources.

There are quite a few American blogs  and sources that also are worth reading/following.  To that end, see  below and  a huge hat tip to Jeff Jackson at BreakDrink which did a post on this a while ago.

Great American student affairs resources:

thesabloggers (the colossus of collaboration which hosts insightful posts and #sachat)

  • sadirectory (a directory of various student affair blogs organized on categories)

BreakDrink (one of my personal favs who writes a Daily Dose of Student Affairs stories – think SA Academica – and online conferences)

CampusTalkBlog (another collaborative studentaffairs blog)

StudentActivism (blog that reports on mostly American student activism and advocacy)

StudentVoice blog (yay assessment! Good range and link to resources for SV members)

And of course,  there is insidehighered the chronicle (lots of membership only articles) and the tougne-firmly-in-cheek Cronk.

Are there any other blogs or media services that I missed and should be mentioned?
